Mollers North America Load Conveyor Systems
Mollers North America’s Pallet Conveyor Live Rollers are built with performance and reliability in mind. The welded frame design incorporates 6″ x 2″ x 3/8″ wall thickness channel iron on the drive side. The non-driven side incorporates 4″ x 2″ x 3/8″ angle iron. The legs are conducted with 1-½” x 3″ x 3/8″ channel iron that is gusseted back to the main frame to prevent lateral shear during start and stop of the load. Rollers are 3-½” diameter zinc coated ‘sealed for life’, mounted on 3-¾” centers providing maximum weight distribution across pallet to roller surface. Motion is controlled with a VFD drive incorporating roller-to-roller chain drive for smooth gradual start/stop motion. Each conveyor is designed for a minimum of 5,000 pound weight capacity, and can convey loads on pallets or slip sheets smoothly and reliable for many years.
Interlocked operator cross-over system.
Heavy-duty slewing gear drive system.
Turntable live-roller conveyor.
5-chain turntable roller/chain conveyor, to change the pallet flow orientation.
Live-roller conveyor, load pick-up station, with floor mounted fork deflector and load backstop.
5-chain roller/chain transfer conveyor.
Safety Fencing and Access
Mollers North America’s enhanced safety design provides SIL 3 or PLD compliance with optimal operational efficiencies. Our approach incorporates a safety PLC with a multi-zone architecture, allowing for production to continue while commodity replenishment is ongoing (ie pallet replenishment). The perimeter fencing incorporates black mesh panels with yellow safety mounting posts, to provide a view of the interior equipment. Access points include a local keyed access interphase with safety reset, enabling rapid system re-engagement. Our machine safety design has been recognized by the Rockwell Automation Machine Safety Excellence Award.
Interlocked access point with local interphase and solenoid enabled gate switch.
Access point interphase with local request to enter, keyed access and safety rest.
Solenoid-driven interlocked gate system with active state confirmation. Can be incorporated with door or slide-gate access points.
System air-distribution, located outside the fence near the main control panel for efficient lock-out-tag-out process.
Light curtains are mounted within a heavy-duty channeled steel structure for the protection of both standard and multi-beamed muting style light curtains.
Touch-Screen HMI Components
Mollers North America’s HMI’s include a large 15″ color touchscreen with a 3-D graphical representation of the equipment system layout. The design enables operators to drill down to the functional sub-assembly level, while providing state, sensor/motor and safety level feedback. This design illustrates where faults are located, including diagnostic description to enable the operator to quickly identify and remedy the situation.
Automatic Load Stacking Systems
Realize operational efficiencies with the automatic load stacking system. For your end-of-line load staging requirements, the system will stack multiple loads to reduce your handling time. Constructed of heavy duty structural steel and a robust fork lifting system. Designed to accomodate a wide range of load sizes. The retractable fork with physical backstop design ensures proper load alignment. It is comprised of like components as used with our other equipment.
Functional Capabilities include:
- Stacking loads that are stacked onto pallets
- Stacking loads that are stacked onto slip sheets
- Stacking multiple partial loads
- Inserting pallets beneath loads
